Michigan-based e-commerce brands to be recognized on MRA’s “Michigan Monday” list on Cyber Monday

Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) is gathering a list of Michigan-based member businesses with e-commerce websites in anticipation of Cyber Monday shopping across the state.

Returning for its second year to shine a light on locally-owned e-commerce brands, MRA’s Michigan Monday list encourages consumers to “Keep Your Money in Michigan” this holiday season by choosing to shop on Michigan-based websites on Cyber Monday, Dec. 1.

“About 20% of all retail sales in Michigan were remote in 2024; around 4% higher than the national average,” shared Vic Veda, MRA’s VP of Communications. “Michiganders send billions of dollars out-of-state through e-commerce purchases, but we can keep more money in our communities by seeking out retailers that offer online shopping right here in our state.”

The list of MRA members with Michigan-based e-commerce websites will be available on MRA’s website in mid-November, featuring exclusive deals and promo codes for brands in all corners of Michigan.

The list includes retailers of home goods, jewelry, clothing, candy, art, shoes, flowers, gifts, and more.

Businesses looking to claim their spot on the list can submit their business at retailers.com/michigan-monday-2025-registration.

Michigan Retailers Association’s annual Buy Nearby Economic Study found that Michiganders spent an estimated $38.3 billion in remote sales in 2024.
