The Climax-Scotts Community Hall of Fame ceremony scheduled for January 23 has been rescheduled for February 13 due to poor weather.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place in between the JV and varsity boys basketball games against Mendon. The JV game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
Winterfest activities are also scheduled at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game.
The Class of 2026 Hall of Fame inductees include:
• Dennis VanMiddlesworth, C-S’ first ever state MHSAA champion in any sport in the 880-yard run in 1971.
• The 2006 state champion 4x100-meter relay team consisting of Tyler Langs, Jordan Langs, Dallas Halasz and Scott Bogard.
• Deryk Soule, 1991 state champion wrestler.
• Brian Davis, 1991 state champion wrestler.
• Alex Lodes, a two-time 100-meter dash state champion in 2012 and 2013. He was also state champion in the 200-meter in 2012.
• Justin Todd, a 2004 state champion cross country runner.
• The 2013 4x100-meter relay team consisting of Alex Lodes, Kirk Gibson, Sam Eshuis, and Zach Nabozny.
