from the March 23, 1951 Climax CrescentInspect Schools in Detroit
Several members of the Climax Township Unit School Board and the building committee motored to Wyandotte and looked over a number of schools that the architect, Mr. Campbell, had built in that vicinity which were very similar in principal to the plans voted on here.
It gave the group a chance to look over the different types of construction that would best fit the needs of this district.
The location of the Scotts school has been pretty well settled to build on the east side of the present building and buy two more acres to the east. This was rather hard to decide as the architect advised against building over the old foundation and the new building will have a 177 foot frontage. The identical building at Climax will be built in the northwest corner of the athlete field or on ground to be purchased from Mr. Knowles to the west.
Plans for the Shop and Ag. room haven’t been completed.

The juniors now feel so important and essential to the school that the other day they had a class meeting and decided upon colors for their class (green and white, which we think very good), a class motto and a class flower. In the latter they chose Lily of the Valley!
Now the seniors may not be very well educated, but they never heard of such a species of plant as this.
We would like to ask the juniors where it could be found.
