Brandon Redd, 26 of Roseville, MI, 27-year-old Alante Smith, and 23-year-old Bernard Woodward, both of Detroit, are charged with Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year felony.
Following a preliminary hearing, St. Clair Shores 40th District Court Judge Joseph Craigen Oster bound the men over to circuit court as charged.
Redd, Smith, and Woodward will be arraigned before Judge Julie Gatti at the Macomb County Circuit Court next Monday
It is alleged that since the beginning of 2025, Redd, Smith, and Woodward were responsible for more than 30 thefts of Dodge Ram infotainment centers as well as other auto theft-related crimes across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties.
The Macomb Auto Theft Squad together with the St. Clair Shores Police Department, the Eastpointe Police Department, and the Oakland County Auto Theft Taskforce identified and arrested the three men.
"This case stands as a clear example of the results that come from thorough, methodical police work,” Lucido said. “After a diligent investigation, law enforcement successfully dismantled a criminal enterprise that targeted vehicle infotainment systems—crimes that not only inconvenienced victims but eroded the sense of safety across our community.
“Our commitment extends beyond bringing charges; it is about accountability and deterrence. Let this serve as a firm message: organized crime will not be tolerated, and we will continue to take decisive action to protect our residents from those who seek to exploit them," stated Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
