The dog suffered nonfatal injuries.
Vigneau was arraigned before visiting Magistrate Ryan Zemke in the 37th District Court in Warren on the following charges:
Animals – Killing/Torturing – Second Degree, a 7-year felony
Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony
Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony
Habitual Offender – Fourth Offense Notice, an aggravating sentencing factor
Zemke set Vigneau’s bond at $60,000 cash or surety only. If released, he must wear a GPS tether. Vigneau is not permitted to contact any of the complaining victims and must not have contact with animals that may be considered pets.
Vigneau is scheduled for a probable cause conference before Judge Steven M. Bieda at the 37th District Court on May 28.
