As America approaches its 250th birthday this summer, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren recently held a launch party for his new book, “The Revolutionary Words That Forged America: The Definitive Guide to the Declaration of Independence.” The book offers a line-by-line analysis of the Declaration document, including its often overlooked 28 grievances, according to Warren, who recently announced his candidacy for a seat on the Michigan Supreme Court. A former member of the state Board of Education, Warren has served on the Oakland Circuit Court since 2002.
