Butzel Long Charitable Trust hosts inaugural Summer Soirée on June 25

The Butzel Long Charitable Trust and its nonprofit partners will host the inaugural Summer Soirée at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, the Birmingham Country Club. Tickets are $200 per person. 

Business leaders from throughout the Midwest will be in attendance. The evening will feature keynote speaker Lighthouse CEO Ryan Hertz. Numerous other local nonprofit leaders will be in attendance as well. The event also will feature a live auction with a wide range of items up for bid. Sponsorships for the event are selling fast. The Butzel Long Charitable Trust, established in 1983, supports many local organizations year-round in an effort to give back to the region that it has been located in for 172 years. In 2025, the Butzel Charitable Trust served 55 charitable organizations and donated more than $76,000 to organizations including Kids Kicking Cancer, Vista Maria, Detroit PBS, Folds of Honor, The Pink Fund, Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation, Chaldean American Ladies of Charity Food Pantry, Kids in Need Foundation Annual Backpack Giveaway, Detroit Dog Rescue, Ava’s Heart, Brilliant Detroit and the list goes on.
