Firefighters provide instruction
Students in Climax-Scotts High School teacher Dustin Himebauch’s (far left) science class were recently offered basic instructions on operating a fire extinguisher by two members of the Climax Township Fire Department recently. Climax Township Fire Chief Scott Smith said after receiving basic instructions from firefighters John Carr (far right) and Jerry Carr (second from right), the students were allowed to use the fire extinguishers. One student had the opportunity to use the fire extinguisher on an actual fire that was started outside.
