The official day Michigan High School football and volleyball teams can begin practice is Monday, August 10.
Climax-Scotts will have two new varsity coaches leading the charge.
C-S varsity football coach Justin Kirinovic will hold the first practice August 10 at 8 a.m., beginning a three-day camp at C-S Jr./Sr. High School.
New girls varsity volleyball coach Jeanelle Longman Pontoni will also begin practice August 10.
The varsity football team will begin the new season Friday, August 29 at Concord at 7 p.m.
The varsity volleyball team begins the new season participating in the Carrie Adams Memorial Tournament at Harper Creek August 22 at 8 a.m.
The home opener for the varsity football team is Labor Day weekend, a 7 p.m. Thursday, September 3 clash against Britton Deerfield.
After playing a quad doubleheader at Marcellus August 24, the Lady Panther spikers play their home opener Tuesday, August 27 against North Adams-Jerome.
