Climax-Scotts Community Schools is proud to announce Amanda Bailey as the new Varsity Cheerleading Coach for the Panthers cheer program.

A Climax resident and active member of the community, Coach Bailey brings strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-coordination skills to the position. Throughout her professional career, she has been trusted to manage complex responsibilities, collaborate with others, and maintain close attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Bailey’s professional experience includes logistics, procurement, customer service, administrative support, and coordinating operations across a variety of settings. These roles have strengthened her ability to plan effectively, communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and lead with consistency.

Bailey is passionate about working with young people and creating a positive, motivating, and encouraging environment. Her approach will emphasize confidence, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and helping each student-athlete recognize their value as part of the team.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to become part of the Panther athletics program and work with our student-athletes,” said Bailey. “I want to create a supportive environment where every athlete feels encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence, and grow as both an individual and a teammate. I look forward to bringing energy, organization, and Panther pride to the cheer program.”

Bailey holds an associate degree in liberal arts from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Her leadership abilities, organizational skills, community involvement, and experience working collaboratively with others will support her as she builds relationships with student-athletes, families, and members of the Panther athletics program.

Climax-Scotts administration is excited to welcome Coach Bailey to Panther athletics. Her positive attitude, reliability, organizational abilities, and commitment to supporting young people make her a strong fit to lead the varsity cheerleading program.
