The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into Vizzaccero after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Last Wednesday, deputies, along with members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, conducted a search of Vizzaccero’s residence.
During the search, investigators allegedly recovered materials and electronic evidence containing child sexually abusive material (CSAM).
Vizzaccero was taken into custody.
Vizzaccero was arraigned before Judge Joseph F. Boedeker of the 39th District Court in Roseville on the following offenses:
ONE COUNT: Computers – Internet – Communicating with Another to Commit Crime – Maximum Imprisonment of 15 Years or More or Life, a 20-year felony
ONE COUNT: Child Sexually Abusive Activity – Aggravated Distributing or Promoting, a 15-year felony
FOUR COUNTS: Child Sexually Abusive Material – Aggravated Possession, a 10-year felony
FOUR COUNTS: Computers - Using To Commit A Crime – Maximum Imprisonment of 10 Years or More but less than 20 years, a 10-year felony
FOUR COUNTS: Computers - Using To Commit A Crime – Maximum Imprisonment of 4 Years or More but less than 10 years, a 7-year felony
FOUR COUNTS: Child Sexually Abusive Material –Possession, a 4-year felony
Vizzaccero also has a Habitual Offender – Fourth Offense Notice, an aggravating sentencing factor which may result in a life sentence if convicted of a count with a penalty of 5 years or more.
Boedeker set Vizzaccero’s bond at $500,000 cash/surety only, no ten percent option. If Vizzaccero posts bond, he must wear a GPS tether. He is prohibited from using any device capable of accessing the internet.
Vizzaccero is also ordered to have no contact with minors.
He is scheduled to appear at a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Alyia Marie Hackim at the 39th District Court on Sept. 9.
