Harvest Festival, sponsored by the Scotts Olde Tyme Power and Equipment Association, returns to Scotts Mill County Park October 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Scotts Mill County Park is located at 8451 S 35th St, Scotts.
This event celebrates our agricultural heritage with live demonstrations, family activities, and autumn charm.
Experience the Power of the Past
Witness the ingenuity of a bygone era as history comes to life. Club members will be operating a vast collection of antique machinery, all powered by beautifully restored engines and tractors. You’ll see and hear the unmistakable sound of history at work.
Live Demonstrations Include:
• Antique Tractor Display: See these magnificent machines up close.
• Blacksmith Shop: Watch a master blacksmith shape hot iron into useful tools.
• Saw Mill Operation: See how raw logs are transformed into lumber with our circular saw mill.
• Wheat Threshing: Discover how grain was separated from the stalk.
• Corn Husking & Shredding: See an essential piece of agricultural processing.
• Grist Mill Tours: Step inside our historic mill and learn how grain was ground into flour.
• Shingle Mill & Saw: Watch as wood is expertly cut and shaped.
Family Activities & Autumn Delights
Beyond the demonstrations, we’ve planned a full day of classic fall fun for all ages.
• Take a scenic wagon ride out to our pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin to take home.
• Let the kids enjoy some face painting.
• Enjoy a tasty lunch from our food trailer, serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and other concessions.
• Satisfy your sweet tooth with a homemade treat from our bake sale.
