Nicholas J. Hathaway, a candidate for Wayne County Circuit Court judge, will hold a kickoff reception for his campaign on Thursday, March 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Global Telecom Solutions, 1501 Sixth Street, Detroit.
A 2002 graduate of Wayne State University, Hathaway earned his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. From 2004-09, Hathaway was an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
In December 2009, Hathaway became a referee in the Family Division of the Wayne County Circuit Court, a post he has held for more than a decade. He handles a blended docket of juvenile delinquency and child protective proceedings.
Among the honored guests expected to attend are Judges David Allen, Prentis Edwards Jr., Bridget Hathaway, Paul Cusick, David Groner, Dana Hathaway, Lynn Pierce, Aaliyah Sabree, David Perkins, and Helal Farhat.
