The Federal Bar Association – Eastern District of Michigan Chapter (FBA) recently conducted its New Lawyers Seminar. As part of the program, a luncheon was hosted at the Ft. Shelby Doubletree Hotel featuring Wayne County Circuit Court Chief Judge Virgil C. Smith (fourth from left) as guest speaker. Smith spoke on “Procedures in Circuit Court.” Welcoming Smith to the program were (left to right) Rochester Hills attorney Debra Chmielewski; U.S. District Court Judge Patrick Duggan; Grosse Ile attorney Christine Dowhan-Bailey; Superior Township attorney Dawn Blanton; U.S. District Court Judge Paul Borman; Ann Arbor attorney Kym London; and Tecumseh attorney Kellen Myers.
