The courtroom of Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Kathryn Viviano (center) was the site of a recent Brown Bag lunch sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. Among those on hand for the noontime gathering were Kristin Stone, president of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Macomb Region, and Mt. Clemens attorney Craig Feringa. Organizers say such events provide attorneys with an opportunity to interact informally with the judge while the judge and staff members can provide the lawyers with policy and procedure information specific to their courtrooms.
