Wayne Law schedules election panel discussion

Wayne State University Law School will host lunch and a panel discussion titled “New President, New Congress–What to Expect” on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Wayne State University Law School, Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium in Detroit.

The event is scheduled from 12:15-1:15 p.m.; the auditorium is located at 471 W. Palmer.

This discussion, presented by the Levin Center at Wayne Law and Wayne Law’s Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, will explore the outcome of the elections and expectations moving forward.

Confirmed panelists include Kevin Deegan-Krause, associate professor, Wayne State University Department of Political Science; George Franklin, president, Franklin Public Affairs LLC; Sen. Mike Kowall, majority floor leader, Michigan State Senate; retired U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, chair, Levin Center at Wayne Law, Wayne Law’s distinguished legislator in residence, senior counsel, Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn; and Rochelle Riley, columnist, Detroit Free Press.

Jocelyn Benson, director, Levin Center at Wayne Law, will moderate.

This is a free event, but registration is requested. Lunch will be served.
