The Macomb County Bar Association is teaming up with the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan this year to provide a series of criminal seminars for court appointments. The most recent event was held Feb. 22, entitled “Evidence Boot Camp A (Hands on Training),” featuring (from left) Thomas Cranmer and Bernard Jocuns as speakers. All of these seminars are being held at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township. Along with another Evidence Boot Camp, training in the future will cover such subjects as witness examinations as well as admitting evidence and sentencing and sentencing mitigation.
