The State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Law Section will present "Recent Case Law Update; Possible Amendments to the Marketable Record Title Act" as part of its Homeward Bound series. The virtual event will take place Thursday, March 25, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The online program will feature a discussion of the current state of the Michigan Marketable Recordable Title Act, led by Nicholas P. Scavone Jr. of Bodman, which will include discussion of proposed amending legislation and the role of the Real Property Law Section in its drafting. This will be immediately followed by an update on recent, real property related case law from the Michigan courts, led by Alexandra E. Dieck of Bodman. This informative presentation will help Michigan real property law practitioners stay informed on the current state of Michigan law.
