Acomb appointed section chair
Frederick A. Acomb, a principal in the Detroit office of the law firm of Miller Canfield, has been appointed chair of Miller Canfield's International Dispute Resolution Section by the firm's Litigation and Trial Group. The International Dispute Resolution Section has defended and prosecuted international claims in many of the world's major arbitral institutions as well as in the United States federal courts.
Acomb handles complex commercial litigation and international arbitration matters for clients from all over the world. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and his B.M. from Northwestern University. He is a member of the International Bar Association; the American Bar Association, International Law and Practice Section; and the State Bar of Michigan, International Section. He lives in Birmingham, Mich.
