Miller Canfield attorney named among 'Best Lawyers' in Canada
Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named Jeffrey M. Slopen, a principal in the Windsor and Toronto offices, as a 2012 "Best Lawyer" in Canada for his work in Corporate Law.
Slopen joins 112 of his United States colleagues from Miller Canfield who were selected as "Best Lawyers" in America, ranking the firm as a leader in Michigan in the number of lawyers named.
Slopen, who is a member of the bars of Ontario and Michigan, practices in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions and real estate development. He earned his American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in Toronto, Ontario and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws in 2009 from Assumption University, an affiliate of the University of Windsor.
