The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) hosted a general meeting on Wednesday, March 12, at the Polish League of American Veterans Post 16 in Dearborn Heights. Addressing the PALS gathering was State Representative David Knezek (center). As the representative for the 11th District, Knezek serves the communities of Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster, Livonia, and Westland. He is a member of the House Education and Health Policy Committees and serves as an Assistant Democratic Floor Leader. He is the first Iraq War veteran elected to the Michigan Legislature. Welcoming Knezek to the meeting were (l-r) retired Judge Richard Wygonik, Mount Clemens attorney Joe Kosmala, Eastpointe attorney William Jurczak, Wayne County 20th District Court Chief Judge Mark J. Plawecki, Angela Marino, and Southgate attorney Doug Hamel.
