Counsel Conference
The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel hosted its 2014 Annual Meeting and Conference, “Business Law: Learning from the Past, Navigating the Future,” on May 15-16 at the Atheneum Suite Hotel in Detroit. After two days of speakers, programs, a golf scramble, judges’ reception, and a fun run, the meeting concluded with an awards banquet on Friday, May 16. Ready to enjoy the banquet were (l-r) MDTC Young Lawyers Golden Gavel Award winner Doron Yitzchaki of Dickinson Wright PLLC; MDTC Vice President Mark Gilchrist of Smith, Haughey, Rice, & Roegge PC; MDTC Past Presidents Committee Chair John Jacobs of Jacobs and Diemer PC; Jim Bodary; MDTC President Ray Morganti of Siemion Huckabay PC; MDTC Excellence in Defense Award winner Bob Siemion of Siemion Huckabay PC; and Mike Malloy.
