Cooley co-hosts swearing-in ceremony
WMU-Cooley Law School held a State Bar of Michigan admissions ceremony Thursday, May 17, at the school's Lansing campus. The Hon. Clinton Canady III, 30th Circuit Court, delivered the oath of office to eight admittees, six of whom are graduates of WMU-Cooley and two who are from other law schools.
The Ingham County Bar Association co-hosted the ceremony with WMU-Cooley, and Jessica Fox, president of the bar association, convened the court.
Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in the ceremony were Stephani Rose Fleming, Michelle Anne Goetz, Sharon Lynn Plavnick, Luciana Cancado Viramontes, Inna Yevgenievna Volkova, and Tiffany A. West, all WMU-Cooley graduates; Jessica Marie Goldie Scott, from Charlotte School of Law, and Charlotte McCray from Michigan State University College of Law.
WMU-Cooley hosted a reception for the admittees and their families following the event.
