2nd Annual Khalta to be hosted by NAABA-MI May 24

The National Arab American Bar Association Michigan Chapter (NAABA-MI) will host its 2nd Annual Khalta on Wednesday, May 24, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Atheneum Hotel, 1000 Brush Street in Detroit.

Among the honored guests confirmed to attend are:

Wayne County CASA to host ‘Spring Into Hope’ event May 10

Wayne County CASA will host its “Spring Into Hope” fundraiser on Wednesday, May 10, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center, 3711 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.

Attendees of the “Spring Into Hope” fundraiser will learn more about Wayne County CASA’s mission, its work, and hear about the life-changing impact CASA volunteers have in the lives of children and youth of Wayne County.  A complementary lunch will be served.
