The Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers conducted its Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 27, at Sindbad’s Restaurant and Marina in Detroit. During the evening, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Muriel Hughes (far left) was honored with the Charles R. Rutherford Jr. Award and Fred Lauck (third from right), of Lauck’s Law, was honored with the Thomas “Tiger” Thornton Award. In addition, ISIAL Educational Fund Scholarships were presented to Wayne State University Law School student Kathryn Dunleavy Chirdon (third from left) and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law student Kevin Lynch (second from right). Happy to congratulate the honorees were ISIAL Scholarship Committee member Meghan Kennedy Riordan (second from left), of Kitch Attorneys & Counselors, and ISIAL President Jennifer Cupples (far right), of Jennifer A.
