This webcast offers an exploration of a wide variety of ethics issues impacting lawyers in all practice areas and work settings. Led by two industry-leading attorneys specializing in ethics and professional responsibility, the program takes a rapid-fire approach to briefly highlight evolving and sometimes newsworthy legal ethics issues. In one hour, attendees will stay informed on the latest guidance regarding a lawyer’s professional obligations, learn how to help mitigate ethical risks, and protect clients’ interests and one’s professional reputation.

‘Co-Defendants and Objections during Trials’ discussed online Jan. 21
Speakers will highlight policies and trial objections during co-defendant trials. There will be an overview of successful cases and a review of issues that may arise. This interactive seminar, presented by the new Oakland County Public Defender's Office, will feature a Q&A session to address any questions.
Speaking at the online program will be Chief Public Defender Paulette M. Loftin and Deputy Chief Public Defender Lindsay Abramson of the Oakland County Public Defender’s Office.
Credit has been approved with the OCBA for 1.5 Criminal credits and 1.5 Juvenile credits.
Cost for the webinar is $12 for OCBA members pre-registration and $25 for non-members pre-registration. Oakland County MIDC court appointed attorneys can attend for free.
