Attorneys to discuss ‘School Obligations Under Federal Immigration Laws’

Clark Hill will present the webinar “Understanding K-12 School Obligations Under Federal Immigration Laws” on Wednesday, Jan. 29, beginning at 11 a.m. via Zoom.

Clark Hill’s Immigration attorneys will provide an overview of school district responsibilities under federal immigration laws, including the obligations to appropriately respond to federal immigration enforcement and to respect immigrant student rights.

They will address the appropriate steps to take if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrive unannounced at a school.

Speaking at the webinar will be Clark Hill’s Michael Nowlan, member, Detroit office; and Jennifer Cook, senior counsel, Washington, D.C. office.
