The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan will conduct its 107th Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 26, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Italian American Cultural Society, 43843 Romeo Plank Rd. in Clinton Township.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Kristin Ekkens, TEDx speaker and award-winning entrepreneur. As the founder and CEO of Exponential Inclusion (EXI) and the founder of Exponential Joy, Ekkens is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to embrace their full potential and create meaningful impact.
The agenda for the WLAM annual meeting includes:
9 a.m. – Check-in/coffee chat/wake up and mingle
9:30 a.m. – Sponsor nod
9:45 a.m. – Keynote address
10:55 a.m. – WLAM Foundation scholarship recipients
11:15 a.m. – Panel discussion – DEI and what being an ally in 2025 means
12:15 p.m. – Board swearing in and lunch
1 p.m. – Affinity bar panel
1:50 p.m. – Awards panel
2:50 p.m. – President remarks/closing meeting
Cost for the annual meeting is $100 for WLAM members, $75 for WLAM sustaining members, $50 for WLAM law students, $125 for non-members/guests, and $60 for non-member law students.
