Copyright Fair Use

The Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA) hosted its April Lunch Meeting on Wednesday, April 30, at Andiamo’s in Bloomfield Township. The lunch featured a presentation by Colette Verch (left) and Glenn Forbis (center) of Harness IP. They discussed the degree of transformation required to qualify as a derivative work under copyright fair use law. MIPLA President Shannon Smith (right), of Reising Ethington PC, happily welcomed the two speakers.
