Celebrating Law Day contest winners
Students from schools across Macomb County recently took part in a Law Day celebration sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Foundation. Children in grades 1 to 4 submitted artwork while students in grades 5 to 8 submitted essays. Among those on hand recognize and celebrate the winners and acknowledge the efforts of all participants were (left to right): Sherriee Detzler, foundation president-elect; 38th District Court Judge Kathleen Galen; Lori Smith, foundation treasurer; Maddie Bennage, Macomb County Bar Foundation executive director; Brian Grant, foundation president; and Macomb County Probate Judge Sandra Harrison.
