Bar for the Course
Nearly 90 golfers turned out for the Oakland County Bar Association’s annual Bar for the Course Golf Tournament on July 21 at the Links of Novi. Ready to hit the links were (l-r) Amy Osterbeck, Brad Sargent, Sarah Nirenberg of Butzel Long PC, Kevin Nelson of Tiffany & Bosco PA, Jessica Heltsley of Pospiech Family Law & Mediation PLLC, Russell Carniak of Strobl PLLC, and Lindsay Szleszynski. Carniak was chair of this year’s golf committee for the OCBA while Rick Rassel served as vice chair.
The winning team of (l-r) Brian King, Bishop Bartoni, and Bill McDonald of Bush Seyferth PLLC, along with J. Bradley Sargent posted a superb score of 16-under to claim top honors on the Links of Novi layout. In the individual contests, Sarah Nirenberg was a double winner, socking the longest drive for women while also earning the closest to the pin award for women. Todd Angevine was the winner of the closest to the pin award for men, while Brian King pounded the longest drive for men.
