State Bar of Michigan launches
MiLawyer Podcast
The State Bar of Michigan this month is launching a new podcast focused on helping Michigan attorneys improve their practice and protect their well-being. MiLawyer Podcast talks with top legal experts, innovators, and visionaries every month.
The 30-minute episodes feature top legal experts, innovators, and visionaries along with hosts Molly Ranns, a licensed therapist who serves as director of SBM’s Lawyers & Judges Assistance Program, and Savanna Polimeni, SBM’s practice management counsel.
“MiLawyer Podcast is hyper-focused on serving Michigan attorneys by providing the news, information, and support they need to be their best every day — despite the unique challenges we often face as lawyers,” SBM President Lisa J. Hamameh said. “The number one goal identified in our Strategic Plan is ‘helping attorneys be practice-ready,’ and MiLawyer Podcast is one more way the State Bar of Michigan is here to help attorneys succeed and thrive.”
The first episode, “Real Talk with Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh,” dives into the very real struggles many attorneys face balancing all the demands of life and work. The
chief justice shares her own personal experience and gives insight into the tools she herself uses to stay grounded.
