‘Court Visitor Programs Making a Difference in Adult Guardianship’ explored Sept. 30

The National Center for State Courts will present the webinar “A Closer Look: Court Visitor Programs Making a Difference in Adult Guardianship” on Wednesday, September 30, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Court visitor programs play a vital role in adult guardianship proceedings and ongoing guardianship oversight.  

This webinar will highlight three innovative court visitor programs and their impact on adult guardianship systems. Presenters will discuss program design and operation, successes and lessons learned, and offer advice for jurisdictions interested in developing court visitor programs. Participants will gain practical insights into how these programs can enhance court oversight, protect individual rights, and improve outcomes for adults involved in guardianship cases.

MAJ to conduct 19th Annual Golf Outing Oct. 5

The Michigan Association for Justice will host its 19th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, October 5, at Dearborn Country Club, 800 N Military St. in Dearborn.  Golfers will hit the links with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.  The outing is hosted/sponsored by MAJ Past President Brian McKeen and Terry Cochran.
