Webinar explores how ‘Data Dashboards’ benefit courts


The National Center for State Courts will present the webinar “Justice on Demand: Data Dashboards” on Tuesday, October 13, beginning at 1 p.m.

Courts are increasingly turning to data dashboards to transform information into actionable insights that improve case management, support judicial decision-making, and enhance court operations.

Attendees of the October Data Dives webinar will learn how the Massachusetts Trial Court and Marion Superior Court in Indiana are using dashboard data to monitor case progress, enhance case management, and support data-informed judicial decision-making.

Through practical examples, attendees will see how courts can use data visualization tools to increase transparency, drive operational improvements, and inform decision-making. The session will also highlight lessons learned, key dashboard design considerations, and strategies for building a data-informed culture that supports continuous improvement across the court system.

Bankruptcy Court judges offer insights Oct. 15


The Bankruptcy Committee of the Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association will present “Meet the Bench:?An Evening of Conversation” on Thursday, October 15, from 5:15 to 7 p.m. at Taft, Stettinius, &?Hollister, 27777 Franklin Rd., Ste. 2500, in Southfield.

The evening will feature conversation and connection with judges from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Michigan.  The panelists will share their perspectives on topics of interest to the bankruptcy bar, offering practical insights straight from the bench.

Speaking at the event from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court will be Chief Judge Daniel Opperman, Judge Lisa Gretchko, Judge Paul Hage, and Judge Maria Oxholm.
