A judicial candidate forum featuring the November candidates for Oakland County 46th District Court was conducted last month at the Southfield Public Library. Taking part in the forum were candidates (left to right) Kameshia Gant of Gant Law PLLC and Oakland County 46th District Court Judge Debra Nance. The event was the result of a partnership between the Oakland County Bar Association, the League of Women Voters-Oakland Area, and the Detroit Free Press that sponsors forums in all contested judicial races in Oakland County. The forum was open to the public and was recorded so it may be aired on cable channels in the communities where the race takes place.
