The Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association will present a bankruptcy event, “Unjust Debts – A Discussion with Professor Melissa Jacoby,” online Wednesday, April 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. via Zoom. Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) invites legal professionals to participate in its Virtual Civil Mediation Training in 2025. The State Court Administrative Office approved General Civil Mediation Training is designed to teach participants the skills necessary to act as mediators in facilitating the resolution of disputes. The training will be held April 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day virtually via Zoom. The cost of training is $1,295.
