Wolverine Bar, Straker Bar plan annual law student reception
The Wolverine Bar Association (WBA) and the D.Augustus Straker Bar Association will host their Annual Reception for minority law students on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Students of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Michigan State University School of Law, Wayne State University Law School, University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, and the University of Michigan Law School are invited to gather at the 1917 American Bistro, 19416 Livernois Ave. in Detroit.
The reception will provide an opportunity for law students to meet and network with judges and attorneys who practice in Wayne and Oakland County.
Cost is $10; free for law students and dues paying WBA and Straker Bar members. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar. For additional information and to register, contact Chantez Knowles at cknowles@bodmanlaw.com
