Alumni from MSU College of Law to gather in Florida
On Tuesday, Feb. 14, Bloomfield Hills attorney Richard S. Victor, partner at Victor & Victor PLLC, will host a reception for all attorneys who are alumni of Michigan State University College of Law who practice, reside, or will be visiting the southeastern Florida area.
The reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Carmen's Restaurant at the Top of the Bridge, located on the top floor of the Boca Raton Bridge Hotel, 999 East Camino Real in Boca Raton, Florida.
On Monday, Feb. 13, Dennis W. Archer of Dickinson Wright PLLC along with Judge Trudy DunCombe Archer will host a similar reception in the southwestern Florida area. That reception will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota located at 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive in Sarasota, Florida.
On Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 MSU College of Law Trustee Linda M. Orlans of Orlans Associates PC, will host a Naples, Florida area reception from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1060 Nelsons Walk, Naples, Florida. Special guest at all of the receptions will be MSU College of Law Dean Joan Howarth.
These receptions are part of the law school's special outreach program for all MSU College of Law alumni. All three hosts for these receptions were previously recognized with the Law Schools National Distinguished Alumni Award, Archer in 1988, Victor in 2000, and Orlans in 2009.
