Social Security disability topic of seminar, May 3
On Thursday May 3, from 1:30 to 4 p.m., the Federal Disability Benefits Committee of the Federal Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan Social Security Section will co-host an afternoon seminar on "Social Security Disability: Making the Record & Other Essentials."
The program will feature Regional Chief Administrative Law Judge Sherry D. Thompson, Chicago Region (Region 5), and U.S. District Court Executive Magistrate Judge R. Steven Whalen, Eastern District of Michigan.
Topics will include procedural initiatives at ODAR, appellate issues and how to make an effective record at the ALJ hearing.
This free seminar will be conducted in Room 115 of the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse, 231 West Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit.
