Foundation's two-day event to benefit kids
Yatooma's Foundation for the Kids will present its 7th Annual Champions For The Kids VIP Dinner/Auction & Golf Tournament two-day event Sunday and Monday, June 3-4.
On Sunday, June 3, the VIP Dinner/Auction will be hosted at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Attendees are asked to dust off their boogie shoes for a fun flashback to the '70s at the Sunday Night Fever Gala. Highlights include music by Simone Vitale Band; cocktail reception; live and silent auctions; the Townsend's signature dinner; a brief program featuring Paul W. Smith as master of ceremonies; and dancing 'til midnight.
On Monday, June 4, the Golf Tournament will take place at Orchard Lake Country Club. Highlights will include breakfast with News/Talk WJR 760, a gift for each golfer, round of 18 holes, contests, cocktails, strolling dinner, and music by Simone Vitale Band.
