Business development focus of panel discussion
Business development for lawyers will be the topic of a free presentation and panel discussion offered by the Wayne Law Alumni Association. The event is set from 6 to 8 p.m. June 12 in the Spencer Partrich Auditorium at the Wayne State University Law School, 471 W. Palmer St.
Elise Iafrate, a 2003 Wayne Law graduate and client development manager at Warner, Norcross, & Judd, will share her strategies for finding target markets, building relationships, executing the sales process and closing the deal.
Panelists Doug Wagner, '76, managing partner with Warner, Norcross, & Judd, and Iwona Villaire, '99, corporate counsel at CooperStandard, also will offer their perspectives on business development. Wagner is a private practitioner and Villaire is an in-house attorney who hires outside counsel.
