Second defendant in roller rink shooting sentenced
PONTIAC (AP) -- The second of three men accused of firing on a group of about 300 people at a pre-Christmas roller-skating party in suburban Detroit has been sentenced to 21 to 70 years in prison.
Authorities call it a gang-related attack.
Eighteen-year-old Cheyenne Ingram of Pontiac was sentenced Wednesday by Oakland County Circuit Judge James Alexander. Ingram was convicted of conspiracy to murder and other charges.
All six people shot at the Waterford Township rink survived their wounds.
Twenty-one-year-old co-defendant Tre-Andis Jamison of Pontiac was sentenced Sept. 5 and also got 21 to 70 years.
Nineteen-year-old Robert Lee German of Pontiac is awaiting trial on six counts of assault with intent to murder. His next court date is Monday in Waterford district court.
