Moving company filling 1,000 jobs in coming months
LANSING (AP) -- A Michigan-based home and business moving company says it's seeking to hire 1,000 workers in the coming months.
Two Men and A Truck International Inc. says the hiring plans following a continued pattern of growth in the business going back to 2009.
The company says it will be seeking employees from movers and drivers up to management staff. It's seeking 10,000 applications, and expects to fill more jobs later.
Two Men and A Truck in February was awarded a $350,000 state grant for expanding its corporate headquarters in the Lansing area. The expansion in Delhi Township, just outside Lansing, is expected to generate capital investment of nearly $4 million.
