Attorney to discuss 'Ten Things Every Employer Should Know,' May 2
Misconceptions about the law and misunderstandings about compliance often result in perennial problems and repetition of legal missteps for employers.
James S. Rosenfeld, Butzel Long labor and employment attorney, will discuss the "Ten Things Every Employer Should Know" during a Lunch & Launch program from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at the Macomb-OU INCubator at the Velocity Collaboration Center, 6633 Eighteen Mile Road in Sterling Heights.
The workshop will explore some of the most common labor and employment law mistakes, which involve wage and hour issues, discrimination statutes and recordkeeping.
Seating is limited for this free program and registration is required. To register, call Joan Carleton at (586) 884-9324 or email: macINC@oakland.edu.
