Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Health Law Society conducted a symposium on recent issues involving healthcare on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Cooley’s Auburn Hills Campus.
Gina Bertolini (center, in back), associate vice president and deputy general counsel for the University of Michigan Health System, led the conversation. She took up issues such as the Affordable Care Act, the recently enacted Healthy Michigan law, and other legal issues regarding medical facilities and legal careers in healthcare.
Among those eager to hear from Bertolini were (left to right) Stephanie Carlisle, Cooley Auburn Hills Campus Dean John Nussbaumer, John Signorino, Cooley Professor Monica Navarro, Holly Ferrari, Yousif Yatoma, Stephanie Saa, and Nickolas Butris.
