The State Bar of Michigan Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section will continue its meet & greet series with a program called "Cheers, Chow & Know-How" from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, at Cowley's Pub located at 33338 Grand River Ave. in downtown Farmington.
The evening will include a presentation from 7 to 8 p.m. on "Why Ethics Matter" by Robert Edick, deputy grievance administrator for the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission. The rest of the evening will consist of casual networking with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The evening is sponsored by Helping Hands Handyman Services Inc. of Farmington Hills.
Both members and non-members of the section are invited to attend. To register in advance, email Susan Haight at susan.haight@n1discovery.com or call 989-305-8838. The $10 registration fee can be paid at the door with cash or a check.
