Judge to address Polish American Legal Society
The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) will host its next monthly meeting on Thursday, Feb. 12, beginning at 6 p.m. at Polish Village Cafe, second floor, 2990 Yemens Ave. in Hamtramck. The guest speaker will be Wayne County Circuit Court Judge John H. Gillis Jr.
Gillis was elected to the bench in 1985, serving first on the Recorder's Court of Detroit. He received his B.A. from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Detroit.
