Butzel Long hosted the first in a boot camp series of complimentary programs/webinars on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at its Detroit office. The first topic explored was “Cybersecurity – Threats, Responses, & Best Practices.” Presenters included (left to right) Stew Nelson, senior risk advisor, Kapnick Insurance Group; Claudia Rast, attorney and shareholder, Butzel Long, who focuses her practice on business and technology; and Scott Bailey, partner, N1 Discovery. The speakers shared best practices, information on new detection tools, a roadmap for what to do when the inevitable happens, and the specific types of cyber liability protections that businesses should make part of their standard insurance portfolio.
