The Detroit Bar Association’s 2017 Spring Barristers Bash took place April 25 at Sinbad’s Restaurant on the riverfront. The event, which attracted members of the bench and bar, served as a fund-raiser for the Detroit Bar’s School Partnership Program that is designed to foster student interest in the law. Among those attending the Spring Bash were (left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judges Paul Cusick and James Chylinski, Wayne County Circuit Court Chief Judge Robert Colombo Jr., Wayne County 36th District Court Judge Prentis Edwards Jr., Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Kelly Ramsey, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Riordan, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Mark Slavens, attorney Angela Baldwin, attorney Brian Summerfield, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Edward Ewell Jr., and Detroit Bar Association President Donn Fresard.
