Video viewing event offers selection of topics, Dec. 10-14

The Oakland County Bar Association will host a Video Viewing Marathon—A Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series Replay on Monday through Friday, Dec. 10-14, at the OCBA?offices located at 1760 S. Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield Hills.

Each video is worth one credit for attorneys on the criminal assignment list.  There is no cost to attend.

The dates and topics are as follows:

• Monday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. Representing the Immigrant Client in Criminal Cases*; 11:15 a.m. Pre-Trial Reform: An Analysis of Local and National Trends.

• Tuesday, Dec. 11, 10 a.m. Fire Arm Laws and Regulations*; 11:15 a.m. Trial Tactics: Character Evidence*.

• Wednesday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m. Mastering the Hearsay Rule and its Exceptions*; 11:15 a.m. Representing the Client with Driver’s License Sanctions*.

• Thursday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m. Accident Reconstruction Reports in Criminal Cases*; 11:15 a.m. Post-Verdict Consequences of a NGRI or GBMI Plea*.

• Friday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. The Intersection of Criminal and Juvenile Law*; 11:15 a.m. Forensic Interviews: Using a Child’s Testimony During Trial**.

* This video is worth one credit for attorneys on the criminal assignment list and one credit for attorneys on the juvenile assignment list.

** This video is worth one credit for attorneys on the criminal assignment list and 1.5 credits for attorneys on the juvenile assignment list.
